First let me say thank you so much for your prayers and thoughts and advice and encouragement over the past few weeks. It means so much to have a support group and wonderful friends who do not hesitate to share our burdens. We are truly blessed to have you as friends :o).
Just wanted to let you all know that Grant started at Campbellsville Elementary on Tuesday and his new teacher has consistently said he is doing well, listening and cooperating and just a real peach to have in class :o). Praise God for answers to prayers and confirmation that we are making the right decisions for Grant. Grant's new teacher, Mrs. Cox, is so sweet and wants to do all she can to help Grant learn. She has two children with special needs herself so she understands where I am coming from and knows what it is like. God totally worked it all out. Praise the Lord that it is all in His hands :o).
Grant has been so so so excited about his birthday party this week. We have had to count down the days and keep telling him that these things are for his birthday party on Saturday. It is so awesome to see him so into it and understanding what is going to happen. This is the first time he has ever done this and is blesses my heart and makes me so happy. I am actually enjoying telling him over and over that is for Saturday, your birthday party...3 more days, 2 more days, 1 more day... and hearing him talk about it in his own unique way, he is trying so hard to communicate.
It is so awesome to see...hear the progress he has made over the past year. I am over joyed, praising God all the while.
I will share pics after the party tomorrow. Please pray for good weather since we will be outside :o).
