Kaylyn's first hair cut

I cut Kaylyn's hair on 4/4...that is what 3 weeks ago...I have been meaning to post these pictures since but just never got around to downloading the pictures to the computer until after Grant's field trip. Anyway, I finally decided to cut her hair because my brother-in-law, Chad, kept teasing that she had a mullet. So, I just trimmed up the front and back. It looks really good now if I do say so myself :o).
Isn't that just the cutest face... I love those cubby cheeks!

CU pool field trip

Grant's class went on a field trip to the university pool last week. Grant had a great time playing in the water. Here he is sitting on the side of the pool waiting for his turn to get in. It was during a CU swimming class and each child had to be accompanied by one of the students or a parent that was in the water. I didn't get in since I had Kaylyn with me.

Here is one little spectator that I'm sure would love to get her chance in the water. She was so good just to watch though. Kaylyn was in her stroller for over an hour and never cried to get out.
He had so much fun. Isn't he just the cutest little swimmer ever :o).

Did you feel that?

Well, we had an earthquake this morning. Kenny and I managed to sleep right through it but I think it woke Grant up (the vibration) because Kenny said at 5:40am Grant came and got in the bed with us. I ,however, didn't feel a think...I didn't even know Grant got in the bed with us.
Anyway, just wanted to know if you felt anything...

Has it really been two weeks????

Wow! Time does fly. It has been two weeks since I posted. But in my defense Grant had been on Spring Break for the past two weeks and just went back yesterday so I have not had as much time to think about posting.
So, what is new with me...well, we didn't get to do what we had planned to do as a family like go to the zoo so I don't have any new pics, I know sad day. But we did take Kaylyn to get her one year pics made at Sears and they turned out really well. Grant was determined to get in on the picture action. I will try to link to the page so you can see the pics...let's see if it worked :o) Nope, didn't work so I just saved them and posted each pic...Then Grant decided he needed to be in the piktur too.
This is my favorite one of them together...if ever there was a picture worth a thousand words this one is it. To me it just captures their personalities and their relationship so well.

Then, on the 29th I had the opportunity to go scrapbook with the girls :o). I always end up doing more eating and socializing then scrapping but I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the time we were together :o). Thanks Teaque for letting us come to your house. I did get a two page layout done and I was really pleased with the way it turned out. I haven't taken a picture of it but I will try to soon so I can share it here.
And I decided it was time to cut Kaylyn's hair...as much as I hated to I realized it looked rather shabby. I did take pictures but they are still in the camera so I will have to share those another day.
The weather has been great the past two days and Grant has played outside until he was exhausted. Of course I didn't think of taking any pics and really didn't have time to since both kids were always going in different directions.
Here are a couple of pics from bath time a couple of weeks ago. Kaylyn loved splashing the water in Grant's face. And when I got her out she was trying to reach the running water and she would have to stand on her toes to reach it. She would get her hand wet and rub her hands together and then smack her brother in the head...I think she was trying to 'wash' his hair...it cracked me up and Grant just let her do it without any complaints.

Well, that's all I've got for now. I will try to not wait as long to post again...
